I always wanted to use the Steve Martin line from the movie THE JERK …I was born a poor black child….

but thats not true.

What is true is I have lived and worked in the midwest all my life and for the last 30+ years in Iowa. I keep asking my friends how long do you need to live somewhere before you’re from there.  I’ll keep you posted when I get an answer.
